Packing up the Organ for its return to Sydney

On 19 November, 2008, a glorious still autumn day in Provence, packed into two 20 ft containers which will come through the Gates at Rose Bay in early January, the 1890 Puget organ began its last long voyage home to the Chapel.

For the third time in its 119-year old life, it will cross the seas from France to Australia. The containers have gone to the large container port of Fos-sur-Mer and will be loaded onto the ship to leave next week.
